this is a button'ed buffalo. I see these time to time. People took a buffalo and bubbled out one side and attached a post that could be sewn into cloth and be used as a button. Not worth anything as a coin, however, there is a big interest of clothing and related items (Coin Jewelry, Coins in clothing, Coins in car decorations, etc) from that period that has a decent sized group of collectors. Might be worth a lot to someone, but not numismatists.
