So today my 2004 Silver Proof Quarters set came in which means my Dansco 8144 is complete! It has all the satin finish quarters in it (I also have all the business strike quarters in 2x2s in a regular binder). This is the second Dansco I have completed (the first being the 8145: DC/Territories w/ Proofs with all satin finish quarters).

I have a 2002 silver proof quarters set in the mail, and when that comes in I will only need the 1999 and 2001 silver proofs to fully complete my collection.

Dansco 8144 total cost: $297.19 (includes Dansco binder and slipcase)
Dansco 8145 total cost: $80.39 (includes Dansco binder and slipcase)

How would you say I did in regards to cost?

Congratulations!

You know there will be more than one request for pictures.

Except for 2004, right?

Right...all the satin finish quarters made (2005 and later). I can't get my camera to work. It's a nice-looking set. No problem coins. Everybody pretty much knows what a State Quarter set looks like anyway.

I just knew you knew; my comment was more for the casual reader.

Pictures are not necessary. Enjoy the accomplishment!

Congratulations! On completing your vol 2 set.

I completed my two vol set a while back, those silver proofs really make the set look great.

As for price, I think you did ok. A year or two ago I saw two vol sets sell in the $500 to $600 range. At that time most of the cost was in the first vol (1999 and 2001 coins). Now with the 2008 sets going up higher and the 1999 set coming down some, then the two sets prices may balance out some.

I guess it would be interesting to price out doing a complete set of State Quarter from just mint and proof sets. With my sets a lot of P and D coins came from rolls.

BIG CONGRATS! On completing the State Quarter sets! I just complete my business strike D and P sets as well, with closing in on completing my silver proof set. I also need the 1999 quarters.
