Italian Gold Coins - 1969 - Bank Of Italy

Hello all,

My Grandfather retired as "Portiere" (custodian) of the Bank of Italy in Rome in 1969. As a retirement gift, he received three commemorative coins from the "Assemblea Annuale 31- v- 1969". This is printed on the back of the coins.

The coins weigh about 7 ozs total and it's time to sell them. My question is whether they have any "collectible" value or just the value of the gold.

These are medals not coins, the only gold coins from Italian Republic in Lira are 50.000 and 100.000 Lire minted from 1993 thru 2001 each year w/o 1994.

I'm not an expert in medals, but my feeling is that these medals has only gold metal value.
