1846 upright 6 over a horizontal 6 Seated Liberty Half Dollar.

Does anyone have one of these coins? (I'm trying to see what the orientation of the horizontal 6 is versus the upright 6).

If you do, PLEASE post pictures of your coin, particularly your coin's date.

I'm trying to determine if this coin is a 6 over horizontal 6 or not. Thoughts?

Well, I answered my own question. I went on Heritage Auctions and got a bunch of 1846 over horizontal 6 pictures. (And mine is not one of these!)

Here's some pictures I got from older auctions of these coin types:

I just recently saw one of these, still very clear even in G-4.

Yeah. The date also has to be one of Medium height versus the Tall one in mine.

I just saw something happening around the 3 o'clock position of the 6, and since I wasn't sure what the 6 over horizontal 6 was supposed to look like, I thought I'd ask the "Collective"!

And now I know!
