I have just been collecting type coins and still I consider it a type set. I don't feel I need an album.
I would guess I am missing varieties of Seated coins but I have the denominations except the dollar. I'd like to have a Seated dollar. Maybe someday.
Rest in Peace

I had been saving my type coins in air-tites to place into an album in the future, after reading ianmprice's offerings on "down with the 7070"
I have again re-thought my collection. I have settled on the title of;

Debating-=-Dansco-7070-

With coins now free of the air-tites and placed in 2X2 holders I have utilized a 60 slot Coin Album to house the 1/2 cent through 1 dollar set
not all "types", but each denomination represented.

Debating-=-Dansco-7070-

I just got back into the hobby after being away from it for 15 years. I dug out my Type Set album & it was about half done with some fairly nice coins. I then ordered the gold page which I was able to fill from gold coins I already had & a few I purchased over the last month or so.

I still have a long ways to go before hopefully finishing it. But I'm enjoying trying to do so once again!

I would suggest you get a 7070 & go for it! After all the enjoyment in doing it is what it is all about, even if you never get it completely filled.

I thought I was going to be overwhelmed with the 7070 album but when it did arrive I already had a big majority of the coins already in my collection to fill allot of the holes. There are some holes that are hard to fill on a small budget and some are hard to find at all in higher grades even if you have the money to spend but I really enjoyed working on it when I was filling the holes. I haven't added anything to the album in over a year now but hopefully by the first of next year I will be able to finally finish the album and then I will actually feel as though I have accomplished something
