I'm going with VF-35. A little too much wear on the cheek and hair above the ear to make an EF40. But......a great coin all the same. My sentiments also on the toning and patina. Dcreek1968

Well I am waiting on someone to correctly guess the grade/designation that this coin received on the slab. The correct answer has two parts to it.

Quote: ef details? Well, PCGS wouldn't give a details grade. They'd just call it genuine... Maybe it's a variety like a micro-S or a VAM? I don't know much about Morgan varieties.

No no no...You guys are going in the wrong direction completely. No variety either. Just a straight up slab with a grade/designation

I forgot the lowest grade PCGS awards a plus, but.... EF-45+?

hmmm....I'm baffled. It looks to have way too much wear for a PL or DMPL designation, so I think wheatguy has the most likely guess at EF-45+. What other designations are there for morgans?
