I picked a bunch of foreign coins up from Witter Coins in San Fran a couple weeks ago and let my daughter pick a few out, here are her picks. I especially like the Greek one!

By Greek I assume you mean the top right but I understand the confussion. Hellvetica is in fact the name for Switzerland and it's 20 rappen (100 rappen = 1 Swiss franc). I find that the Swiss coins are the most durable. They must use only the top quality metal. You'll find a lot of their coins from the early 20th c and even late 19th c to be in good condition. I'd say your daughter has a pretty good I for the aesthetic. How old is she?

I showed some of my newly acquired world coins to my 2 daughters (12 & 9) hoping to find a "coin buddy," but so far not too much interest from either of them. There is still hope. . . the boy's 17 months and we just found out there is another on the way. Maybe one of them will have some interest one day.

Hopefully your daughter will (does) enjoy looking through your coins with you, sharing some time with dad.

Congrats on the new baby!
