I have no idea when I came by this or from Whom. Chances are it was a CCF member. It was on a roll of mixed Morgans and Peace dollars I was looking at today.
Anyway would some one care to Grade it? Anyone want to see if its a VAM?
MS63 - my opinion. Maybe higher, would have to be holding the coin and looping it. There are no significant VAMS in the 1891-P variety except for the doubled ear and the pictures are no sufficiently detailed to warrant an opinion on that issue. Very nice coin. Thanks for posting.
Could just be the picture, but I'm seeing wear on the cotton balls, some staining and what looks like a finger print mark right in the center of the face. I'm going to say AU-58.
