Given the odds of ever finding a solid, binary is acceptable... but trinary is pushing it :) And if you want to get technical a binary should of course only have 1 and 0 for the digits. Having said that I will save any 2 digit bills I find (and call it a binary), but wont save a 3 digit unless it has some other redeeming feature, like 00989000* <--- I posted that one elsewhere on the forum.

In order to conserve server storage space I will post a link since I have already posted the note pic.

I'm still wondering about the odds of a radar with matching letters making it a TRUE radar.

Very nice.....I don't know how I missed that one before. I have never encountered a radar note as far as I know. Quite neat indeed, but what really makes it special and 'fancy' is that it is a coveted 'trinary'.

(I'm not worried about server space, I figure that I will just be suspended or deleted when I go over the top). With that thought in mind, here are a couple more of those 'fancy', yet elusive 'trinaries':

Very nice. I think what makes it special is all those zeros! Put five zeros in front of an A and I don't care what the last three digits are.

Yeah, me too....I was just being silly with the talk of 'trinary' and others such foolishness.

Speaking of those fancy trinary notes, here's another:

WOW Greg, you are a pack-rat extraordinaire. I would love to see the repeaters and the radars. I have zero of each, but am looking. As far as the Hot Wheels and soda bottles, I have heard that there is a vast and growing market for such things, and you are probably sitting pretty on top of those mountains. I don't know about the produce sticker thing, but who knows?

Here is another early FRN from New York. Known population 211. Of all of the $10 red seal FRNs printed, half of them are New York, subsequently, New York is the most common Red seal FRN known today (by quite a bit).

Hmmm.....maybe the produce stickers will help fill the void left by the toy cars.

Here is an early Philly FRN. Known population: 24

I kind of like the idea of the produce stickers. Seems like a TPG could slab them much easier than they could a bottle. Then we would get into counterfeiting of these produce stickers, and the TPGs would have to come up with new slabs because even the slabs would be counterfeited in China. Lighthouse could come up with new storage cases for the stickers, ebay and Heritage could designate new categories for them, etc....think of all of the business opportunities that could arise from these things.

Here is an early San Fransisco FRN. Known population: 25
