Two Old Notes From The Civil War Time

They are in pretty bad condition, and they are glued, but maybe historically they still could be interesting to someone. I would like to the opinion if someone is familiar with this kind of stuff. But the other is to be happy because if they weren't I'd be willing to bet they would have been lost eons ago and you wouldn't have them at all. The first note, although dated December 1862 was probably printed that same month or January of the following year. The man pictured in the center of the note was Clement C. Clay, (congressman from Alabama). The second note is of the third series of fractional banknotes and was printed between December 1864 to sometime in 1869. Both notes (as you say) are in pretty bad condition and probably are not worth the postage fees to send to a potential buyer, as both are fairly common notes. Report this Post to the Staff

Pinenut, don't worry... if I made a deal with Dave, I will send him notes first, and, when he receive it, than he can make a payment to me. Dave, unfortunately, I am living in Europe, so the shipping costs are pretty high (I know because I am receiving lot of books from USA every week), so, as the Zeewool say that notes in this condition are not worth the postage, I am not sure are you still interested in it...
