Okay everyone is talking about jojax on ebay, and GGC (Gallery Grading Company) Well this is the first time I have dealt with them and my bid was on a $2.00 dollar 1976 issue GEM-69 graded by GGC. I've never heard of them. But even if the grading service is a scam; to me, just the 2 bills along without being graded is worth the money I spent, But from what I have read about this person, I won't be dealing with him again. As far as coins, I go for the best PCGS & NGC. That's the only 2 I will buy from, I have one time bought a coin on ebay from a seller (SGS grading service) again from what I hear a rip off, the coin is graded a MS70 and the coin looks bad, I can find a better quarter in pocket change than them from SGS. by the way the holder (slab) is cheap and stuffpy. I would say STAY AWAY FROM SGS graded coins.

Welcome to the forum whatsmyname019,

I too have heard to stay away from SGS. Now I will add GGC to the list. thanks for the info. If I buy a slabbed coin it has always been PCGS so far.

Excellant idea whatsmyname019. Unforanately there are so many so called grading services out there, they make it very difficult for people to buy an accurately graded coin. They literally reach in their pocket pull out a coin and saw WOW this is a MS-70 they buy a box of cheap slabs stick a label on it and wham E-BAY here I come. But keep in mind even the top 3 TPGS do not always accurately grade a coin. As they are a business and they do not have your best interests at heart they are there for one thing only to make money.

It's that Quantum grading I tell you. And now we have the first case Quantum Entanglement. Now everyone will have to get a Quantum Entanglement review from the Quantum Entanglement Czar.

Welcome to the forums Whatsmyname019.

Welcome to our CC family.

I fixed the post count. The only thing I can figure is that this thread was posted in the welcome section first and then was moved to the Main Forum. Posts in the Welcome section do not increase post count.

As far as GGC graded coins, shadowzen66 also sells them. I think there are a couple of other sellers now as well. The best practice is to learn to grade coins for yourself and buy the coin, not the slab. The top TPG's make mistakes too.
