I think it has to be Dansco 8145 - District of Columbia and U.S. Territorial Quarters. I was in my local coin shop yesterday picking up a couple more Dansco albums. I saw the 8145, I thought interesting. I knew I had a set of P and D satin quarters from a 2009 mint set that I had broke open, and the shop owner had the clad and silver proof quarter sets. This was a easy decision, pretty much take it home put the quarters in and all done. This set is a good addition to four sets of State Quarters I have. You can still purchase the proof quarters from the mint, I paid $45.00 for both sets local. The Dansco can be bought online for $14 to $17 plus shipping. A business strike set of 2009 quarters I think can be had for around $10. So here is a complete set you can put together for around $75.00. I took some pictures, but could not really get good ones, ended up taking them out into the sun room, but the summer sun is to bright for a good picture. The set really does look a lot better then the pictures reflect.

Are you talking the complete set of Jefferson's?
I have been working on mine for a couple months, I think it has 210 coins. I believe I have 14 left, should be done after the next coin show next month.
But this set has 24 coins, all 2009. I bought the album yesterday, put the coins in today.

That one would be one of the shortest sets to complete. I guess "easy" is a relative term. For me with Danscos it depends on the grade which I am going for and the number of coins, etc. The SBA was fairly easy and some cirulated sets have been somewhat easy. Whatever set is fun for you and gives you enjoyment is the way to go.

The Dansco #7000 is by far the easiest!

spaceace I forgot about the SBA .. that is a pretty short set too. Not sure what Proofs it requires. 79 and 81 type II I think are pretty high prices coins.

Very nice! Quote: The Dansco #7000 is by far the easiest! And the best part is that no two are alike.

Quote:I think the Jefferson nickel is the easiest full set (with proofs) to complete. Easy is a very relative term. For me, the Jeffs were the easiest in circulated condition with proofs. Nothing too expensive. True, it has way more coins than some of the others (SBA, Territory Quarters, etc), but this would would also be somewhat easier to fill from circulation. By the way, this is the only Dansco I have completely filled. I finally got the the Dansco 7000 joke, I'm a little slow.

Ikes, hands down. The years are only 71-78, and the coins are relatively cheap (proof series too). There is no 75s and only recognized Dansco varities are in 76. Plus, once you are done, yoe don't have to worry about new issues! Even the SBA has some expensive (proof) coins for a short series. I would think the other moderns are easy too. I think Nickels are hard to do from circulation. My set is not complete.

Some good answers .. but I am still sticking to this set is the easiest to complete. How can just buying two proof sets(not even the whole sets, just the six quarter sets) and one mint set, all sets are 2009 and can still be bought at or close to mint price. As for the Jefferson nickels, I really like the set. But with proofs, wow that is about 50 proof nickels more if you add a page for the early proofs. And as for me I am very close to getting done with it, but then I bought a book on nickels and I am thinking I might have to start all over. The Jefferson set might be one of my favorite sets once I get it all done in mid to high grade coins. But that will take me a long time to finished and then upgrade.

Goldrush, the 8145 sounds easy enough to me.
With the Ike book, would have to the coins from several sources to get any sort of quality at all.

Steve I think your right, I was not meaning most liked, just easiest.
I like Ike, and I did like filling it up. But it was hard finding some of the coins.
The 1971's were not in the mint sets, I looked thru hundreds to find the ones that are in my set now. And finding proof silver Ike's that are not milky, I would not say was hard, but something to watch out for. I am not complaining, I really did like putting the Ike set together.
Just no way as easy, more fun yes!
