Thank you all again.
This site, and it's members, really keeps me motivated.
Most of the coins, that in the albums, I already had, I just have been working this past year to organize them and acquire the the missing coins.
I am still thinking about what Dansco's I still need to get. (not sure about that 2, 3 and 20 cent yet)
Another big step, I have been looking for a job (I quit working 6 years ago). With a job, I will be able to start buying the keys that I have been putting off buying, and to start that gold page for my type set.

This is your job, it just doesn't pay very much.

I really hate to say this but that is impressive. The reason I say I hate to say this is I'm a Whitman Classic Album person with well over 100 of them. Used to be about even with Dansco and Whitman people but lately I'm finding I'm on the loosing side of that one. So what ever happened to all my Whitman Album fans? Are they getting so bad no one wants them? And no smily face for crying either.

just carl
I am sure your collection looks very impressive. Over a 100 Whitman's, has to be more coin sets than most of us will ever own.
To me it is what "you like" that counts. It came to me that presentation and organization is what really makes a collection look nice. That is part of how this site has helped me with. It is nice to see what others have done with their collections, take the ideas I like, and do them with my coins.

Hey, Great either way! Personally, I enjoy my 'ol raggedy buffaloe nickle blue Whitman as much as I do some of my other high end sets in the Dansco's... a few blue Whitmans here - after all, that's what we had back then, & they still look good....most of mine are not complete, as have stocked from circulation.....billy

I'm 55 years old and have collected coins off and on as long as I can remember. The first coins I had were kept in a shoe box under my bed and I kept them that way until I was in my 20's. lol. I just bought my first Dansco last month. I'll probably keep my LWC's in the original Whitman folder I started back in the 60's, there's something nostalgic about those old tattered Whitman folders.
