coinsnpaper Valued Member Canada 480 Posts	Posted 07/17/2010 04:53 am It is a commemorative medallion, issued I believe by Shell Oil, part of a set with an item from each of the provinces and territories, all with their crest and floral emblems. The items are gilded zinc, and worth 50 cents to 1 dollar. There was also a folder to keep them in. Report this Post to the Staff
guppie1160 Valued Member Canada 307 Posts	Posted 07/25/2010 5:29 pm coinsnpaper exactlly right and I will date myself I do believe each "coin" had the provincial coat of arms on one side and the provincial flower on the other...they also did a similar set with the prime ministers of canada....I did not know they had a value still though...
