without the use of Krause or any coin reference material of any sort, with just the coin in hand, that looks like silver.
How does one determine to confirm that the coin is silver?
is there any chemical that can be used? or by the type of sound it makes when dropped on hard surface? perhaps by the metal's sheen? by any other means? (short of spectrochemical analyses)
thank you
