Found yesterday roll searching.

Strong "LIBERTY"

What do you think grade wise?

Thanks,

Chuck.

Nice coin, if it wasn't for the damage between the 8 & 9 on the date, I would grade it at AU-50. The damage is going to effect the grade some though.

Wear below the "B" and "Y" in Liberty. Full diamonds with slight wear on the hair curl below the ribbon. Wear obvious on the bow on the reverse. Without the damage between the 8 and 9, this would be a solid AU and maybe AU55. Damage brings down it's value, but what a nice Indian cent. Nice roll find! Where can I get a roll with this in it?

I agree with Echizento, au-50 but the damage will drop it to xf-45. Great find! I'd like to know where you got those rolls.

Great reverse, but the damage on the date will affect the grade. (It almost looks like someone started a hole?)

The lack of detail on the left top feather tips looks almost like a weak strike? Does anyone know if that's common on this year? (The rest of the obverse doesn't seem to match the "wear" on the feather tips, that's why I'm thinking strike...)

EF-40 as is, possible AU-50 if we can confirm a weak strike of this type/year.

Thanks Moe145.

Here are a few more close-up pics of the date and feathers.
