I have a lot of copper, from wheat pennies, to 2 cent pieces, to IHC etc. I was wondering what is the best way to store these? In coin capsules or any suggestions? thanks! I don't want my nice coins damaged by me not properly storing them so I really appreciate all input.

thanks!

Also, my 2 cent piece is starting to get this weird blue stuff on it , its in a paper stapled cover thing, will include picture. any suggestions? Is the thing its in making it not safe? what should I do about that little part on the coin? thanks for your opinions

This is the thing its in -

Your coin appears to have PVC residue on it, most likely from being stored in a plasticized holder. Store only in mylar non-pvc holders. Store your better date and/or higher grade coins in 2X2 mylar flips. Then store in a cardboard box and catalog them. Safe deposit box would be the safest way to go. What you have the 2C piece in is fine. Those. holders are safe but, get that coin out of that one and remove the PVC damage as much as you can. Badthad may be able to help with his product :-)
