1882 Canadian One Cent Inc D, Missed Variety?

Stunet Valued Member United States 211 Posts	Posted 07/25/2010 01:26 am Good find Papeldog. If you look at my detail shot the Serif on the N in CANADA is broken. Is that what you mean? I looked at my other 1881's and 1882's and they all look intact. I have eight 1859's. Charlton's has a boatload of variations for that date and mine are all standard issue. Except one. R2bR2c Valued Member Canada 153 Posts	Posted 07/25/2010 05:32 am The new Charlton 2011 65th edition is not really a "guide". 80 popular Victoria varieties were selected from among the mid-100's known and put in the book. Just because it is not in the Charlton doesn't mean it hasn't been found or is scarce. I would estimate that for Rob Turner's book, at least 200 1882's were looked at for differences & similarities.
