I went a few weeks ago but missed all the action. I'll go earlier this time. I hope to perhaps meet one or two of you there! =)

I live about an hour away, but haven't been there before, and won't be able to go this time. Hopefully I'll be able to make it to the Long Beach show, or at least Ontario.

Wheatguy, cool that you're kinda close by! Maybe we'll have to put together a CC "Meet" for the Long Beach show - most of the people I've talked to here are going in September, maybe we could all get coffee one morning or something, just to put a face with the alias. =)

In other news, I wanted to say how much fun I had at the Anaheim show. Some really great people, dealers of all ilks (a lot more currency than I expected), collectors from complete novices on up to extremely experienced, and a lot of cool stuff to see! My favorite part was getting to handle a 1795 dollar (in a slab, natch - but still!) that was simply gorgeous - VF+ - such a beautiful coin. One day...

But it was really cool and free - in fact, we (my girlfriend and I) missed breakfast at the Embassy Suites, but we got to horn in on the hotel guests' free continental since they'd closed the kitchen. Not a practice I care to repeat (I don't like to freeload) but since nothing else was available, that small repast got us through to the next meal. And others DO like to freeload, so I don't mind mentioning it. We tipped one of the waiters really well for his advice. =)

Cool show, I could've spent hours there! Will be back again. Hope to see some of you SoCal'ers there!

Cool! Seems like a great show, although since school's about to start I'll be a lot more busy, most likely without time to even think about going to a show. Nice report though, the Draped Bust half must of been really neat.
