This particular bookstore is very unique. They specialize in many obsolete books and some very rare books. Well, while looking through the collectibles section, and coin books of course, I came across a book that was very interesting. It was titled "United States Type Coins" - An Illustrated History of the Federal Coinage by Norman Stack.

It is a hardcover book with beautiful pictures and a brief history of the coins illustrated. When I opened the cover, I could not believe what I saw. It was signed in blue marker the following:
To David Hall with all good wishes. Norman Stack
February 26th 1987

They wanted $20 for it so I picked it up. What this book is doing in a Reno bookstore is totally to me. I'll put some pics up soon.

If anyone is looking for hard to find specialty type coin books, this is the place. They have a website as well.

Owners are extremely nice, patient folks. They ship USPS media mail rate, best rate for books.
