The master was doubled for this year creating this. Really pretty common with yours a really nice example of this doubling.

You could check coppercoins, but I think it's listed as DDO-01. I don't think there's any premium since the master die was involved which makes most the coinage this type for the year.

Actually ALL 1944 cents are like this...and no, no premium value - it's normal.
