Hi, just wanted to ask if anyone has ever found a 2006 Jefferson nickel with extra metal on the chin? I found a coin in my roll searching in Canada, and the extra little blob of metal on the face, makes it look
like there's a wart there. Just curious. Thanks.

A picture would certainly help but it sounds like you are describing a common die chip. Extra metal is a rare occurrence on a coin and almost any coin with a raised lump is of standard weight, the metal just fills the void(chip) when the coin is struck.

I have found quite a few. There are also quite a few Roosevelt dimes with the same thing. Most of the lumps you will find on nickels seem to show up on the chin and some on the eye brow. The most common that I have come across on dime are around the edge of the nose and eye brow with some occasionally showing up in the hair.
