For Schutzenfest collectors, getting the medal in the original box and/or with a name on it (winner) makes the purchase much more appealing (and value). I just received these two. The first is a One year type with the winner's name (Hafner, Paul Forster) on the medal and the other is a 50MM Fribourg, both in original box. This is a well defined collecting theme which keeps the hunt going for as long as one desires given their low mintage.

Zohar, you amaze me. Haven't dealt with you in a long time. When I did it was quite pleasant. I look at your coins every time they are posted. Absolutely beautiful. They are so neat to look at. When you sell, they are pretty much in a league of their own and I am in the minor leagues for sure but I appreciate you being here and like your posts whether selling or just showing them like this.
I know you like the Thalers, but the Shooting medals are awesome too. Some are just so Art Deco!
I wonder why you like these? I also wonder what the story is behind them. Are they from competitions? The Europeans must have taken target practice pretty seriously. Thanks, so cool.

Very nice. How common is it to find these coins with the original packaging?
