Hi all!
This is my first post here
I would like to know the value of following coins:

1997-And-1999-200-Euro-Coin

1997-And-1999-200-Euro-Coin

1997-And-1999-200-Euro-Coin

I found out those are X# 137 and X#157 coins in Unusual World Coins 4th edition and that X# 137 is a first Euro coin secured against counterfeiting with gold hologram.
Thanks in an advance!

Welcome to the forum Smutiks!

I can say nothing about their value, but you may already know that they are not real euro coins, so they are not at least equal to 200 real euro. There were many "euro" coin series in the late 90's before European Union protected the name of the new currency.

Yeah, I know they are medallic coinage type. I was hoping someone could look up their value in Unknown World Coins 5th edition so I can get at least an approximate numismatic value. Their melt value is pretty close to €200, though ;)
Thanks for the answer anyway :)

I would be surprised if there was a real market for these "coins".
You have there 10 ounces of pure silver and 4 grams of pure gold which should indeed make a nice amount but far away from 200 euro.

If prices of silver and gold continue to go upward this time next year it'll be 200 euros.
I already have gold and silver in bars and bullions; I was hoping there is more numismatic then intrinsic value.
