I would say at least one cent at a minimum.

Are there actually Lincoln variety specialists that will pay $5K for one? I have no clue what a 1988 D RDV-006 is worth.

No one else does either. Less than 20 are known to date. Speculated at the 250-700 range, but of the owners I have found, no one will sell at that price. So, if someone finally does sell one, that would give a better indication of value. The speculation in 2007-08 that the value would fall to 50 hasn't happened. And it is definitely the key to a LMC collection being 1988 with a 1989 reverse. I will not be surprised to find a hole in albums for it sometime in the near future, just as small dates and large dates are attributed. Not for sale. Nope.

I took the scan through the flip before shipping. That's the white and squiggles. No color adjustment or enhancement. Scan is much more dull than the coin which is red. Hope it comes back with a good grade.

Sorry, but I really don't see how that coin will ever become worth that much. There is no prominent doubling as far as I can tell, and even if there is less than 20 the demand for the coin would, in my opinion, not be huge.
