1988 DDO Or DDD?

Haven't posted anything silly in awhile, so either I haven't found anything worth posting, or maybe I've actually been learning something!

Date looks much thicker than the other '88's I've compared it to.

I have been trying to compare the other devices to determine if they are starting to "blend" in with the fields, but I'm not quite sure with this one. I hope my eye is getting better.

Here is an example of a DDO for that year. Note also the 9 in the date is affected.
