I don't know much when it comes to what to look for in serial numbers... but I set aside anything that looks interesting.

The that I've come across recently are:

B 77000400 D $1 2003A
H 00185185 A $1 2003A

Anything special about these? Any market for them? I'm not looking to sell them, just wondering if people collect such.

on the 1st one I don't see anything special about.

for the 2nd one, however, it would be classified as a mini repeater and if I were to buy it, I would offer about $8

Thanks for the reply. I figured the 1st one listed wasn't too special, all the 0's caught my eye though.

I am always tempted to save notes that have 5 repeating digits, but I never do unless they have a fancy serial. Now 6 repeaters... that's a horse of a different color, even if they are as worn as this one.

Well I have a 2$ note: serial # 25516255 and I save that. Just if you see anything unique i'd save them.

the first one would probably make a pretty good "liars poker" bill.

I was wondering how long it would take before someone pointed that out.

Yes they are all unique, but some are uniquely ugly and some uniquely elegant!

Nickelman,

Besides being a 6 Digit Repeater, it's also a Binary Radar Serial. Nice!

Would this be considered a binary repeater 88998899? I have two, a Series 1988 and 1988-A.

the $2 bill is worth face value.

the 2 $1's, however, those are worth something as binary repeaters.
