I have posted on here several times in the past few months about my new roll searching hobby. Many of you have provided good advice to which I am much appreciated.
I have just received good news on two fronts. First, my granddad told me he is giving me a jar of wheats that have been sitting in his closet for about thirty years...so I am pumped about that. 2)My dad has been rolling his pocket change for about 20 years. I thought he had cashed it in multiple times, but I was wrong. After I told him I had started roll searching he told me he would bring me all of his change to look through! The last time I saw his stash it was about $50 in pennies, $100 in nickels, and $100 in dimes...and that was about 5-7 years ago.I'm pumped!
Also, we have a new microscope and camera connect at work, so everyone stay tuned because I will be posting pics!

Excellent news! Make sure that you do enough research on roll searching (if you haven't already) so that you don't miss anything. I expect to see some pics of some key dates and nice errors soon

I remember looking at my Grandmother's rolls.. it was great fun. Nothing very rare or expensive, but I would do it again in a heartbeat. What a rush going on the hunt... good luck.. have fun!!

For your Dad and Grand Dad to be able to pass these along to you is fabulous!

I bet they are just as excited as you are.

Its good for everyone to see our hobby continue on down the line.
