I've used paypal to send money as a gift and to checkout from ebay, but have never received a payment such as money gift. When someone gifts you money through paypal how do you receive it and get it into your account?

It automatically goes into your paypal account and then you request a transfer from paypal to your bank account. It can take up to three days I think.

I transfer on a regular basis to my savings account and as far as I know, no fees are taken out by PP. You have to register a bank account on PP site. Make it your primary account.

Or in case you have not yet enrolled a bank account, you may transfer the funds from your Paypal (that was sent to you) going to your credit card for you to buy or use the transfered funds.

You can also have them mail you a check but paypal will charge you a fee for that. I think it is a dollar. Paypal is needed if you plan to do any buying and selling online. It is just convenient in so many ways. If only ebay did not own the website now.... Sincerely, John Leckrone
