I was given all these coins by my former boss, excluding the 1956 penny I found.

I know nothing about coins and would like some help to distinguish if I got anything note worthy.

Set of 1964 Canadian coins (charlottetown, quebec centennial dollar)

set of 1965 Canadian coins

uncirculated set of 1966 Canadian coins

set of 1967 Canadian centennial coins (mint)

set of 1968 Canadian Coins, both Quarter and Dimes, in nickel and silver (mint)

uncirculated set of 1969 canadian coins

uncirculated set of 1970 Canadian coins

uncirculated set of 1970 Canadian coins (Manitoba Centennial dollar, crocus)

uncirculated set of 1971 Canadian coins

uncirculated set of 1972 Canadian coins

uncirculated set of 1973 Canadian coins (Prince Edward Island centennial dollar)

uncirculated set of 1974 Canadian coins (Winnipeg centennial dollar)

1970 Manitoba centennial dollar (mint condition) (2 boats on it)

1970 Manitoba centennial dollar in collector box (crocus)

1972 Canadian silver dollar in collector box

1956 Canadian penny (found in pocket change about a week ago, I carry it with me every where)

Set of 1975 "Winnipeg Red River souvenir dollars" 4 in total, Convention Centre, Oktoberfest, Upper Fort Garry gate and Manitoba Crocus. They all appear to have never been handled.

You need to determine which of the dollar coins are silver. The silver ones are worth more. If it is NOT magnetic, its silver. If its magnetic, its nickel and not worth much. The silver dollars in mint state are worth about $10.

Beware of dealers, they might offer you 2x face for everything whereas silver is worth 8x face. It could be worth more depending on the variety. For example, if the '74 dollar is a double yoke variety its worth $$$. Can you post a picture of it? We need to see a close-up of the head of the ox in the first '0' in 100.

And like malibu said, before you see a dealer make sure you know what you are taking.

Looks like you boss was a collector of 1 and 5 cents. You will have to sell the individual pieces from these incomplete sets as they will not be consider sets anymore.

ebay is probably your best bet to guage prices. They have a "Proof/Prooflike Sets" section to compare your uncirculated sets.

You could pick up the latest Chartlon coin catalogue at the library and see but the prices are usually off for what they actually sell for by 50% or more at times. For individual coins, the Canadian Coin News (at any Chapters magazine section) is good.

Nice boss - the only thing I ever got from mine was an ulcer.
