1987-D Doubled MM (Question Only)

it would seem that the more I look for these things, the more elusive they become. here is the mint mark oly of a 1987D. I have looke at this coin several times, and it seems similar to the 87D 1MM-014 listed at coppercoins. the only two die markers listed there are not conclusively on this coin. is there any chance that this is a doubled MM. thanks for looking - opinions are appreciated.

It is possible that you may have a repunched mintmark (RPM), but clearer images are needed to determine for sure.

If it is not an RPM, it would be split plating...where the copper plating splits apart during the strike.

This is not Machine Doubling.
