I'd like to see a better pic of the initials. Maybe some of these other guys can tell. That would be an awesome find!

Sorry, I don't think that it is the RDV-006. The designer initials do not look just correct. I think there has been only one die combination for the Denver mint. I just posted this on BadThad's topic on recent Lincoln finds. Anyway here is a copy of the designer initials.

If there is only one die combination then the below photo shows the mint mark placement.

With scanning tricks, something I've been doing to get looks from light shining from different angles is by re scanning the coin in different angles, I also go into edit when viewing the coin and "invert colors" which makes the image shades of light blues and dark where shadows are, for getting a look at outlines. It's helped me to see the shapes easier when regular color images aren't clear. Things often show up in different angles of light reflection that didn't show up on another. Things like the FG might show clearer when scanned from a different angle or inverting the color to have a look.

My camera is non functional so must scan and play around with scanning tricks. I hope this helps ;)

The top of the "G" looks too long for the RDV-006.

Great link on the RDV-006. I Does have several listed. I looked before on http://www.varietyvista.com/1988DRD...1%20cent.htm
and they only had one at the time. Now the above website has just three. The one I found was Wexler 004. Thanks.

Nope sorry it's not the RDV after all.I got a better look at it and could see some post mint damage that made the inside "G" serif but it was still missing the tail on the bottom of the "G" and the top of the G was to long to be it also. I will find one someday so it's back in the roll and headed to the bank tomorrow.
