Hi,

Please tell me:

1) if this coin is an error coin

2) what grade this coin would have

3) if NGC or ANACS would grade this coin as an error coin

thanks,
Mark

Looks like an RPM to me and I am no good at grading. It is not worth having it TPG graded. If you are referring to the doubling by the neck area that is common on the 1960's cents.

It is not an error, it is an RPM which is a die variety. I have no idea which one it is though because there are over a hundred 1960D RPMs, many quite similar, but it is better than many of the very minor varieties. Getting this coin graded would be a waste of money because the grading fee would exceed the value of the coin.

I don't think it's #26. There are just too many to check through

Defintiely looks like an RPM to me, but not worth having a TPG look at it. They just don't command much of a premium in this grade and variety. IMO
