I'm off of work after today for the next 9 days (actually I'll be in on Monday, but I have to go to the
ANA volunteer meeting that evening) I'll be looking at, selling(?), buying(?), trading(?), and definitely talking coins at three big shows.
I'll be going to the Denver Marriott tomorrow (
Friday and probably the Denver Exposition on
Saturday (unless I can make it there on Friday also). I'll be reviewing auction lots by Superior, Heritage (and I forget who else will be there).
On
Sunday, it's probably back to one of those two shows.
Monday is a pseudo-off day, but I need to attend a meeting at the Denver Convention center to get the
ANA volunteers familiar with the floor and their responsibilities.
Tuesday I believe is PNG day and that's my
ANA volunteer day. I'm sure what I'll be doing yet, but I'll definitely have a chance to meet with dealers before the floor is open to the public.
Wednesday-Saturday I'll probably be helping at the Denver Coin Club table off and on and then roaming the bourse and exhibit floors, plus checking out the free seminars.
I have my special want list ready; the coins that I have ready for sale; and good walking shoes!
I already feel overwhelmed with all the dealers that I'd love to meet and see their inventory first-hand. I've dealt with so many of these dealers without meeting them that I'm really looking forward to this.
Coin nirvana! Here I come!
My wife is already gritting her teeth. But, I've convinced her to come one day and check it out.
