Spotted this old thread while trawling through the ID Required archive.

After a bit of Googling I would assume the "Marina Hotel-Casino" in question was in Las Vegas. As I understand it from this site, The site was assimilated by the neighbouring MGM Grand in 1993, so your chip must date from between those two dates.
