I'm a new ebay seller and I might have made a boo boo. I listed some world silver lots with a low starting price (and I did not explicitly list the number of oz in the title). They only have a day left and the top bid is 99c. I will really lose on these if they go that low. One has 2 oz of silver, the other has 8 oz. If anyone needs cheap silver, these are the lots to bid on. If I'm going to be losing huge, I'd rather lose it to someone here on the forum. My ebay user name is the same as my forum name (the ebay name came first, sorry). Thanks

I might try to win it later but I think you'll do OK.

Thanks all. I had some great success on a few items (two darkside coins I got in bulk lots I purchased, one went for $301, the other for $395) and decided I'd start to clean out some of my stuff. Hopefully you all set the spark going. Who knows, maybe one of you will still get a great deal, just not 99c.

i bid on the large lot, somebody else must really want it, each time I hit the high bid, within a minute or 2 the other bidder raised it again

Thanks all, both lots went for good prices. One went a little lower than I was hoping, the other went higher.

With the success I had on the first round of silver lots I decided to try another. I put up almost 8 oz of Canadian silver. It went for under $100!! How is that possible? I even put the ASW in the title. This lot should have gone for at least $150. After fees and stuff, I'll get about $84 for 8 oz of silver. Not a great deal, but probably more than I paid for it since I got much of it when silver was around $4.

Should have advertised it here again. Worst case scenario, a CCF member would have gotten a good deal. Otherwise we could have bid it closer to FMV.

I was praying for a nonpaying bidder. I was thinking to myself how long before I could call it that. It took the bidder 2 1/2 days. Not long enough I guess.
