Also the legacy set comes out the same day.

How many of you are planing on getting on of these coins the gold or silver.
Also who is also getting the legacy set.

Sorry this is kind of a double post since I already posted the link on the numismatic new section but wanted to see who all is planing on getting them.

I am planing on getting the Unc silver Dollar. I am also going to get the 2006 mint set at the same time. I have been waiting for the commems to gome out to get my mint set to save on shiping, I know it is only 4.95 for shipping but 5 dollars I can almost buy a nother older proof set.
Rest in Peace

NOT me! I have no intentions of helping build a museum for the people of San Francisco. If they can't afford to create it now how will they take care of it later? Another commemorative?

I'll pick one up if I have the money at the time. If I don't, then I'll hope that they're for sale for quite a while.

I'll definitely buy the UNC silver dollar, I like the reverse of the gold but can't afford the gold right now.

they should be avilible for a little while since they are minting 500,000 of each UNC and Proof. But make sure to get it before Oct 17th because after that they will go up in price. But if you want the leagacy set you beter be on at 12:00 est on the 15th I think they will sell out fast. now I have to deside if I should what tell the 30th to put in a order since I know I will want the silver set as well but I might just put in two orders since I do not know how much the 20th anv. set will cost.

I believe that it is similar to what they did in 1996. I received a letter from the mint about a month ago to complete a survey and it had the information on that set. It also looks like they will do a "reverse proof" with the background frosted and image with a mirror finish.

What's the price for the legacy set? You can't subscribe to it?
