I suspect it's someone's crude attempt to make a counterfeit cent from a button; presumably it was done back when Indian Head cents were the current design. Conder101 Bedrock of the Community United States 17884 Posts	Posted 09/21/2010 12:14 pm I'm not sure what the host item was, it might be a button, might be a token. Can't make out much of th lettering on it. But what ever it is it has been squeezed between two Indian Head cents. (Both sides show a reversed Indian Head cent) Report this Post to the Staff
odentheviking Valued Member United States 425 Posts	Posted 11/07/2010 12:46 pm As a teenager, I worked at a iron mill for a time. They had a over head crane that ran on a small set of train tracks. I placed a nickle on a quarter and set them on the track. After the crane went past, the coins were not really flattened, but Jeffersons profile was clearing imprinted onto Washingtons and vise-versa. Report this Post to the Staff
