OK, how about it ladies? The husband or your coins? Turnabout's fair play. I have a feeling some of us will be eating humble pie. (BTW if my Carol were still here, she'd make me carry out her collections first; busy, would I be busy.)

Say what?

My house has seven. And they are remotely monitored.

It is 2010. There is no excuse for not having at least one near your sleeping area. No excuse at all!

I know this is a "fun" thread, but I take this part very seriously.

The Wife. With my karma if I went for the coins they would be to heavy I would fall down, get trapped, and burn under a heaping pile of molten silver.

No wife so the dog goes first. Coins are in a fire safe and can be replaced, he can't.

Of course I'd choose my wife. A fire probably wouldnt be a total loss though, as many of my coins are gold, and even if they were completely ruined....gold is gold and will always be worth MELT(literally in this case)..lol

been here many times looking... no wife now, I was able to shed myself... if - at the time - she was around....

non-flammable binding material and a few nails as I picked up the coins on my way out...

I voted to save the wife.
She is way smarter than me and she would have already got the coins out of the house for me

If my wife was responding to this she'd save me because I pay for the coins.
