Poll Question
It's 3;00 a.m. and you are a light sleeper. Like most people you do not have a smoke alarm, however, you awake to a strong smell of smoke. You are sleeping in the guest bedroom because last night you had an argument with the wife and you lost! The guest bedroom is in the basement near your collection storage location. You know you only have seconds to Vacate the residence. You have only one choice, do you save the collection or the wife? (P.S. you do not have children and there are only the two of you in the single family dwelling)

Poll Choices
 I save the wife.
 I save the coin collection.

my coins live in an "in ground" fire proof safe, so fires arent much of a bother to me. :)

Shows your not being resourcefull. Push your wife into the safe and the coins and her are now safe.

Stated no kids but if there were any, they too could be pushed into the safe. Now everything is safe.
Hopefully the combination is known to relatives in case you leave the country.

I'd save the wife. I'd save my dog before the coins, the cats? ehhhhhhhhhhh? I wouldn't want to be a cat that day. I would probably save the cats too. I am sure I would unless they caused the fire, then I just don't know. I am a collector, so I wouldn't lose that about me but I would lose the coins I guess.

Kinda disappointed that coins are actually winning. I hope most of those votes are tongue and cheek.

My coin collection is very important to me, but if my wife needed anything...I would sell everything in a heartbeat for her. If I had a fire my wife would be safe and you would see a for sale listing here for a whole bunch of fire damaged junk silver bricks that used to be coins.
