Please review this coin and assign a grade. Also comment on whether you feel this coin is authentic. If it appears to be fake, indicate where you feel the questionable areas are found. Thank you

I forgot to mention that the measured weight is 2.67g, measured diameter is 18.98mm, and measured thickness is 1.28mm.
Thanks

The spacing of the reverse lettering looks off to me. Particularly "OF" is too tight between STATES and AMERICA. I don't like Miss Liberty's jaw line either. This is a very valuable coin in higher grades and with the level of detail exhibited here, I'd be concerned. I'm disregarding the color because these look like scans but the gut is saying fake. Here's the reverse of a genuine MS62 piece that sold for over $4,000 several years ago.

This is a coin whose value would exceed $1000 if real, in the condition pictured. There's not a chance it's real. As has been mentioned, the reverse lettering is all wrong. The star placements are wrong. 10C is wrong. The placement of the motto relative to UNITED STATES OF AMERICA is wrong. There is only one known die variety for this year, and this ain't it.

I would suggest studying the many books and periodicals available and visiting local coin shows so you can judge for yourself and don't have to second guess yourself. It appears suspicious.

Something I've noticed is how many copies have rough, inconsistent date digits. The top photo is a certified coin.

I'm amased at how well you guys can pick out fake coins. The little details that alot of peaople would miss. Great job,

I mostly collect overdates--I get used to how the digits should look.

The date is the first thing that jumped out at me also. The pitted grainy reverse didn't seem right for the grade either. But I am a novice compared to the pros here at CCF and am at the "being educated" stage.

are all of these coins you are showing from the same place? I know the last 3 or 4 you have shown have all been cast copies and think you may have found someone that either collected cheap novelty fakes to learn what to look for or a forgers stash that he used to try to perfect his craft. If its the later I sure hope these were early in his career because he sure wouldn't have made it very long if it wasnt
