I was getting ready to ask where in the world you could sell a Boone commem in MS-65 for $800.00, because you could really make a big profit going to shows and buying them for about $150.00 and reselling them

The latest Coin Values is not as misleading. It shows high retail at 275. Love to know what the Grey Sheet says.

Coin Dealer Newsletter (CDN Greysheet) Bid/Ask for the coin in MS65 is $200/$220. Forget PCGS prices ...... they are not market reality!

Like it or not .... if you had this coin in hand at a show and wished to sell for cash to a dealer ..... best you would get is 70% of CDN 'Bid' ...... soooo ....

Break even on E-Pray for this coin is $140.00 if you ever wished to sell it and assume no gain in value.

You can buy this coin all day long at a show from $160 to $180 ..... and the dealer is banking on that $140 sell price to him (her) to make some profit.

That's the reality of the re-sale market ..... as a collector you may place whatever value you wish according to your own needs and tastes.

I would like to see the going price for this coin in MS-67+, I certainly would venture you would not be finding this coin so readily and if you could in this condition, I highly doubt you could buy it for less than a couple of thousand dollars, I have a few in VERY high grade, I love the series and do not think it would be available for a couple of hundred dollars......
