I find quite a lot in each box I'm searching (more than a roll usually), but non of them are gems, so I don't keep them. I'll keep any gems I find but they are few and far between.

You are actually finding Gem B/U ones in circulation? Every one I've seen so far gas been spotted and Lincoln has been rubbed dull. I've found cents from the 60s that are more B/U than any shield cents I've found so far.

Same with me. Every time I see some in a cash register I ask for some. Then later I look and they look like they are 10 years old already. Scratched, dented, marked, marred and everything else.

I found a few of them, but I have only kept the nicest ones, which are pretty rare. They seem to be rather low quality in general.

I came across one the other day in circulation that looked like it had already been given the street corner treatment, if you know what I mean. Some indescribable goo on it. Who are the people that do this to coins?

I think I have 10 rolls or more of them 2010-d's now. They all came from one box (80%2010's,20%copper,15%junk,5% wheat's,s-mints and some BU late 80's. I'm hoping the next box has more of a variety to it.

I mean the spots that seem to develop on a lot of zincolns, Whether from corrosion, oxidation or the mfg process I do not know. When roll searching I find a great many seemingly Au or Bu only to be spoiled by spots.

There were about 30 in the last box of cents I searched - I sent them all back.

Grabbed a fresh roll from the cashier at the grocery store. When I got home and looked at it closely, the end coins were already spotted. I wonder what grade these would be given by a TPG?

There is a very good reason to keep EVERY circulation 2009, 2010 cent we find: 1943. That one lone example sold for over a million. Statistically, there is a one in a million chance that we will find a copper from the two clad years, but we know there were copper struck for cents in 2009, and 2010 was a "cusp child" of 2009, so there exists the possibility of a copper in "dem dar" clads, as Walter Brennen would put it. I love statistics, as it allows you to prove or disprove anything. For example: The fact that a glass of water is half full proves that a half empty glass of water exists. Consequently, there is a very LOW probability that a copper general circulation cent will be found. A statistician would then go on to assert "It necessarily follows that if a chance of a gen. cir. copper cent being minted in 2009 exists, there can be asserted a nearly 100% probability that one will eventually be found". Kinda like when Jim Carrey responds to the question of how much of a chance he had with his romantic interest Mary, and she said "Nearly Zero." He replied, excitedly: "Sooooooo I have a chance?!!"

I keep scads of them too. Penny poor.

I have found a few so far, but they all have ugly spots on the reverse so far and I did not keep them.
