Thanks For Looking.
I was looking at this 1970 Lincoln Cent when I saw their was something coming out the bottom of his ear lobe, almost like a double lobe. Would this be considered a Double Die? Or is more of the Die Variety Line. I searched a couple different places for info but didn't come across any alike.

Sorry didn't realize pics didnt post. Didn't see error while uploading, had spaces in file name thats why they didnt load. But think I did it right this time. Please forgive me. I've only been on one other forum. Pretty good forum but nothing to what I've seen here so far. Although the lady Susan is pretty fast at answering posts.

This picture should be better. I want to say small date but I'm so back and forth with these my eyes play tricks on me.

looks like a large date to me. If I remember right as it's been a year since I have even thought about it. The top of the numbers in the date are all straight across. In the large date the 7 hangs just a bit lower. Please correct me if I'm wrong guys.

Large date. The tilt of the last image makes it seem like a small date, but its a large date.

Note the direction of the tail on the 9 and the location of the top and bottom of the 7 in the date of coins for this year.

Coop ty for the pictures I had it backwards. Haven't thought about it for a year or so. One of those you don't use it you lose it.

However and as usual, got off track of the real question. Happens a lot. I thought we were to discuss the possible double ear thing.
Could be just a Cud but there is always the chance that Lincoln had his ears peirced for an ear ring and had one in during this pose for that date.
