something is just a bit fishy here.... There are 3 of them too, all with the same pic, and people are bidding like crazy.

That is because the coin in question is either phoney as a Carson City Bust Dollar or Lady Liberty had a serious nose job. Just my humble opinion.

the hair is horrible looking also. This thing has all kind of red flags. I can't believe it has gotten that many bids on it especially with no return policy since it says "ALL OF OUR AUCTIONS (UNLESS STATED OTHERWISE) ARE "BUY AS IS". IF YOU CANNOT ACCEPT THIS POLICY PLEASE DO NOT BID ON OUR ITEMS"

Those bids are high...on that?

How would one report this to ebay? I see no option for "counterfeit coin", the closest I can see is "bootlegs and counterfeit media". They have a bunch of gold eagles and double eagles listed too, I wonder how many of those are fake as well: http://coins.shop.ebay.com/Coins-US...3911.c0.m282

http://contact.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAP...lling+Coins+ Always use this link to the CCW to report ebay auction violations. Do not use the standard auction reporting methods. This link has a much faster response time.

***Staff note: ebay closed down their coin policy enforcement department suddenly in 2014 and reassigned those employees to other work***

I use the "Prohibited Items" area to report counterfeits, and then explain the coin is obvious counterfeit without "Copy" or "Replica" stamped on it.

Another prime example of not buying raw "gold" coins in this price range especially online. Now some poor fool may or may not be taken for a ride.

The seller states that he has 3 of them and he is either using the same picture or all of them are copies. "Copy" is on all 3.
