Is anyone else buying common date Morgans every now and then? When silver was at $17 a shop near me was selling Morgans for $20, and now that it is at $22, they are still selling them for $20. The hoarder in me wants to pick up a couple of Morgans every month. Anyone else doing this?

I have been trying to pick up any silver coins that I can find that is under spot price. In the last two months I have accumulated about $10.00 face value. It's not too hard, but it is a bit time consuming. I have 4 Morgans and two Piece dollars in the mix. I have a small budget so it is a slow process.

When silver was 17 an oz I bought 150 morgans and peace even though I paid around 16-18 each their that alone in silver now. Personally I think anything dollar wise is better then other denominations

If you've got the extra cash I'd say go for it. Morgans are allways nice to hold and look at. For $20 bucks, the price of a case of beer, a half tank of gas, a couple of steaks, why not. In 20 years they will be worth way more than that!

You get more bang for your buck so to speak buying 90% dimes, quarters and halves usually but it's hard for me to pass up these big chunks of silver.

I picked up a few when silver was at $18.25 at $15/each at a coin show. I really wish now I had bought more :)

Don't forget the Peace dollar. You can often pick them up a bit cheaper than Morgans and if it's silver you're after, they're a good way to go.
