Gothic Florin Pillar of the Community United States 2541 Posts	Posted 10/05/2010 4:11 pm Is anyone else buying common date Morgans every now and then? When silver was at $17 a shop near me was selling Morgans for $20, and now that it is at $22, they are still selling them for $20. The hoarder in me wants to pick up a couple of Morgans every month. In the last two months I have accumulated about $10.00 face value. It's not too hard, but it is a bit time consuming. I have 4 Morgans and two Piece dollars in the mix. bryan1234 Valued Member United States 463 Posts	Posted 10/05/2010 4:50 pm When silver was 17 an oz I bought 150 morgans and peace even though I paid around 16-18 each their that alone in silver now. Personally I think anything dollar wise is better then other denominations Report this Post to the Staff

For $20 bucks, the price of a case of beer, a half tank of gas, a couple of steaks, why not. In 20 years they will be worth way more than that! Report this Post to the Staff
CoinHunter53562 Pillar of the Community United States 2049 Posts	Posted 10/05/2010 10:33 pm You get more bang for your buck so to speak buying 90% dimes, quarters and halves usually but it's hard for me to pass up these big chunks of silver. I picked up a few when silver was at $18.25 at $15/each at a coin show. I really wish now I had bought more :) Report this Post to the Staff
