1865 2 Cent Pc, With funny tip. So I believe.
If you look at the Reverse photo you can see the E&R in America are Connected by something. Something actually goes all the way through America, Do you think this adds value to the coin or takes away from the value. I bought it off e-bay as Very Fine for $20. As a bonus they added a 1968 Lincoln Cent MS. I'm just getting into pre 1900s do you think that was a fair price. They did however doctor the photo to make color a lot better. Thanks Again. Hope you enjoy the pics.

You coin has several die cracks on the reverse Rim-top of UN, through the bases of ATES-rim above O, and from the rim left of A2-A2-bases of ME-top of R-rim. The die has chipped out around the crack to the left of A2 and between ER joining those two letters by a lump.

These cracks really don't have much if any effect on the value. However the coin appears to have been cleaned and poorly recolored which will affect the value.

Thanks for the info Conder!, I'm not too sure the coin was cleaned, never know when dealing with ebay. I used the photos that were on the listing when I bought the coin. Working on posting pics of actual coin. Boy did they do a Photo Shop on this one.

The coin is F-12, and $20 is just about retail price for it. The blobs are die chips/breaks and are very common for the era.

Thank You all so much! I love the feedback. The color of the coin is a deep dark color not brown but a very dark mud color. The photo above is what was used to sell the coin I received a much darker coin. Still working the bugs out of scanner. I'm getting better thank you again.
