Since I am new to the world of error coins, I thought I would check with some of you. This is a 1944 Lincoln Cent, My question is what type of error is this? Is it an error at all? Thank you to all who help. sorry if the picture is not so clear. it was more difficult than I thought to shoot through a loop.

Looks like lamination error. Worth keeping but not much of an added value. Nice find though,

I agree, it appears to be a lamination error.

For the better part laminations are common and are worth very little over the typical value of a comparable non-laminated coin. For this one - 50c or less.
