Well I had a chance to set up the scanner tonight and took out a handful and scanned them. Enjoy! The 1967 JFK is 40% silver the Peace dollar is 90% as are Mercury dimes and the Barber quarters,, I cant make out the dates on the barbers or the Mercs . There was a roll of nickels that I didn't know what they were. So I opened them and didn't see anything that indicated they should stay together...but in lue of just putting them somewhere where I would never find them again...I just dumped them in the bag of silver. Metalman Pillar of the Community United States 7123 Posts	Posted 08/15/2006 01:23 am Hi storm I only mentioned the nickels because some do have have silver content,, and I focus on them in the pic, the War Nickels 1942 through 1945 with the large mint mark above the dome of montecello are 40% silver coins.
