Remember the bag of silver I was talking about? Well I had a chance to set up the scanner tonight and took out a handful and scanned them. Enjoy!

Hi Storm

Nice !!

The two jeffersons cantain no silver ,, The columbians are cool coins !!

The 1967 JFK is 40% silver the Peace dollar is 90% as are Mercury dimes and the Barber quarters,, I cant make out the dates on the barbers or the Mercs .

If you want to start getting some grades on a few of the coins post single pics in the coin grading practice for opinions.

Thanks for sharing !!

Rick

Nice mix of coins.

If you decide to post pics for grading, it is best to do them individually and we need to see obverse and reverse.

Buffalo, I inherited them.

As far as the jeffersons go...I knew they were not silver. There was a roll of nickels that I didn't know what they were. So I opened them and didn't see anything that indicated they should stay together...but in lue of just putting them somewhere where I would never find them again...I just dumped them in the bag of silver. Figured it would be easy to get the nickels out of there :-)

Hi storm

I only mentioned the nickels because some do have have silver content,, and I focus on them in the pic, the War Nickels 1942 through 1945 with the large mint mark above the dome of montecello are 40% silver coins.
