Coin Roller

Good advise pending on where you live. By me and in many large cities coin counting machines are not used in banks anymore. Way to costly. And rolled coins are now considered even a worse probleum since so many are doing the short roll system. One coin missing from each roll or a washer, coin of lesser value, slug added to each roll.
By me almost all banks have now gone to the bring in any coins and they send them out for counting to a main office or independant company. There is a charge for that of course. The will add the amount to your account. NO ACCOUNT? They send you a check and you pay extra for that too.
You say you have a buisness that requires large quantitiss of coins? OK bring in a buisness statement and your put on record to use bulk coins and there is a charge for that also.
Just to be an irritant I asked at one bank what they would do if I brought in 4 quarters in a bag. A rather straight faced teller said they would place them in a plastic bag and send them out for counting.

I'm still trying to find a coin counting machine around me.

In the meantime, I have a coin tube with a marker line at the point that equals one roll. It still takes time to roll them, of course, but at least I don't have to count them out now.

I reroll all of my coins and find that its not that big of a hassle
I simple unfold the edges of the rolls pour out the coins search them and pour them back into the tube
the tube stays open its self and often stands upright on a table as you do it
string and sons are a little difficult but I still reuse them
i unfold one of the crimped edged with my pocket knife and push the coins out with a pencil
this is also a green way to get rid of your coins
IDK yeah you probably go slower but I get 2 boxes of dimes 2 of nickels and a few penny boxes depending on what the head teller tells me he can spare
I never leave without 4 boxes and always rewrap in the same papers
(clear brinks shrink wrap sucks tho)

try going to a costal credit union. if they have that in richmond...
